Pay Rate: $2,800.00 - $3,000.00 gross per week

Travel: Lodging covered – no pets at the hotel

Assignment Length: 13 weeks, chance to extend

EMR: EPIC

Schedule: Both day shift position - 6:30A-3P Or

9A-5:30P

Laboratory/Specialty Equipment Used:

• Infusion pumps, PCA pumps, and other medical equipment, computer, printer, photocopier, and patient charts

Additional Details about the position

• Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature
• Act as patient advocate and anticipate needs of the interventionalist.
• Recognize and respond rapidly to complications (e.g., arrhythmia, bleeding, reaction to contrast, stroke alerts, cardiac arrest).
• Contrast Allergy Management Collaboration
• Verifies ASA classification and consults anesthesia for an ASA score of IV or greater.
• Operates and troubleshoots physiological monitoring systems (e.g., hemodynamic recorders, ECG, oxygen saturation).
• Performs patient identification, procedure verification, and timeout processes in accordance with institutional policy.
• Perform sheath pulls and vascular access management as needed.
• No heart, just vascular, drains and lines, liver biopsy, etc

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 1 year in critical care, ER, cath lab, or IR
• Preferred: 3 years in interventional radiology or cath lab, conscious sedation training, monitor role experience

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS  

• BLS
• ACLS
