Job Title: Firewatch
Job Description

As a Firewatch, you will play a crucial role in supporting the LCAC refurbishment efforts. Your responsibilities will include assisting various skilled workers, organizing materials, and ensuring cleanliness in work and office areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist ship fitters, mechanics, electricians, and welders in their tasks.
• Pick, handle, and organize materials and tools efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness in both work and office areas.
• Monitor welding activities closely to prevent fires.

• Mechanical skills.
• Construction and labor experience.
• Proficiency with hand tools, drills, and carpentry.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to stay focused during shifts.

• General mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Strong attendance record.

Work Environment

The role is based in a repair facility environment at ACU-5 Camp Pendleton, working both indoors and outdoors. Employees must be comfortable in varying weather conditions and are required to wear steel toe shoes. Safety hats, glasses, and gloves will be provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camp Pendleton, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Camp Pendleton,CA.
