**Job Title: Dietary Aide**
**Position Summary:**
Rivercrest Place Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our nutritional services team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the dietary needs of our residents while ensuring a high level of satisfaction and adherence to dietary guidelines. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to promoting a healthy dining experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established nutritional guidelines and resident preferences.
- Ensure that meal trays and dining areas are properly set up in a timely manner.
- Follow safe food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to accommodate residents' dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing supplies.
- Participate in the cleaning of kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils after meal services.
- Communicate effectively with team members and residents to provide exceptional service.
- Monitor food quality and report any concerns to the dietary supervisor or manager.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a dietary or food service setting is an advantage but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions.
- Understanding of basic nutrition and dietary restrictions is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
