The Work You’ll Be Doing\n

In this role, you will:

\n

\n
• Set up and operate CNC machining centers and lathes
\n
• Work with Robodrill, Okuma, and Method machines
\n
• Install tooling, set offsets, and verify workholding
\n
• Load programs and make minor edits at the machine as needed
\n
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
\n
• Hold tolerances and maintain dimensional accuracy
\n
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections
\n
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling to maintain quality
\n
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot issues
\n
• Maintain accurate production documentation
\n
• Keep a clean and organized work area
\n

\n

This role requires independent setup capability and strong machining fundamentals.

Machines, Controls & Equipment\n

You’ll work with:

\n
• Fanuc Robodrill Machining Centers
\n
• Okuma CNC Machines
\n
• Method CNC Machines
\n
• Precision inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
\n

\n

Experience with Fanuc or Okuma controls is valuable.

\n

Materials You’ll Work With\n

\n
• Engineered thermoplastics
\n
• High-performance polymer materials
\n
• Specialty plastic components
\n

\n

Machining plastics requires proper tool selection and speed/feed control — experience in polymers is a plus.

What We’re Looking For\n

Required:

\n
• High school diploma or GED
\n
• 3+ years of CNC machining experience
\n
• Experience performing machine setups independently
\n
• Ability to read blueprints and hold tolerances
\n
• Strong understanding of tooling and offsets
\n
• Comfortable inspecting your own work
\n
• Reliable and safety-focused
\n

\n

Preferred:

\n

\n
• Experience with Robodrill, Okuma, or Method machines
\n
• Experience machining plastics
\n
• Ability to make minor program edits
\n
• Experience running multiple machines concurrently
\n
