Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary The purpose of this position is to ensure the security and integrity of all exams administered by the Del Mar College Testing Center. Perform customer service functions while ensuring all rules and policies are followed. Actively monitor testers and provide testing instructions/information. Distribute and collect testing materials. Document irregularities and troubleshoot testing errors/equipment failures. Additional duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Awareness of test security and confidentiality.


Punctuality and reliable attendance.


Communication and organizational skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.


Proficient with computers and testing software.


Ability to work with faculty and staff.


Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.


Ability to work evenings and Saturdays.


Ability to multi-task in a fast paced college environment.
Preferred Qualifications Community college experience.


Bilingual.

Job Duties

Job Duty Ensure the security and integrity of all exams administered by the Del Mar College Testing Center, actively monitor testers and provide testing instructions/information within the testing lab, ensure testers do not access unauthorized materials.
Job Duty Perform customer service functions while ensuring all rules and policies are followed, distribute and collect all testing materials.
Job Duty Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and staff.
Job Duty Document irregularities and troubleshoot testing errors/equipment failures.
