POSITION TITLE: Summer Housekeeping Custodian
DATE: March 2026
REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Supervisor
LOCATION: Districtwide

POSITION GOAL & BASIC FUNCTION:

1. Support the OJR Housekeeping staff with summer maintenance responsibilities.

2. Various responsibilities- cleaning, painting, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skill and/or ability necessary.

1. Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with the supervisor, fellow workers, staff and students.

2. Ability to follow simple verbal and written instruction as relates to the job.

3. Submission of PA School Personnel Health form.

4. Current Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 clearances.

The person, while performing in this position, will be required to:

• Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and to talk and hear

• Stand, walks, and occasionally is required to sit, stoop, kneel and crouch

• Have specific vision abilities, to include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus

• Have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• 4 days per week; up to 10 hours per day

• Starting at $18.00 per hour
