As a Security Officer Driver Credential Verification in Sugar Grove, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong customer service. This is a driving post. Working with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity, you will support a caring and professional environment for everyone on site.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and supporting authorized visitor and vehicle processing at the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Monitor gates, doors, badges, logs, and deliveries to help support security-related operations, report concerns, and document daily activities in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptions by maintaining a visible presence, observing site activity, and following established escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
