Key Responsibilities
• Full-Service Grooming: Perform professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, precision trimming, and breed-standard styling.
• Safety & Handling: Use expert handling techniques to ensure proper restraint and a stress-free environment for pets during all procedures.
• Sanitation: Maintain a pristine and organized grooming station, including the regular sterilization of tools and equipment.
• Client Consultation: Communicate effectively with store management and pet owners to understand specific preferences and provide professional recommendations for coat health and maintenance.
• Team Support: Assist with pet sitting or kennel duties during peak periods to ensure all animals receive attentive care and supervision.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proven Experience: A minimum of one year of professional experience in full-service grooming, specifically including dog facial styling and advanced bathing techniques.
• Animal Handling: Strong mastery of animal restraint and behavior to ensure the safety of both the pets and the staff.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to safely lift heavy animals and handle the physical demands of a fast-paced grooming environment.
• Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for aesthetics and a commitment to meeting breed-specific standards.
