PC Depot Technician
Exact location: 1 Campbell Pl, Camden, NJ 08103
This person is responsible for provisioning and supporting approved equipment.
Primary Responsibilities: Manage physical and logical hardware inventory within the PC Depot Manage Depot Processes using Service Now and other Depot tools.
Load operating systems on computers using standard deployment and build procedures. Install end-user applications and load user profiles using predefined processes
Prepare and ship hardware to the correct address.
Collaborate with technical Staff, asset managers and end users to expedite laptop build process
Must multi-task between deployments
Prepare returned hardware to be repurposed or retired - Shipping receiving knowledge, keeping inventories tracked.
Troubleshoot issues/errors Evaluate and Implement process improvements
Interfacing with users directly on questions that may arise while installing new equipment.
Basic Qualifications: HIGHLY organized with the ability to multitask in a very fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Must have good understanding of current PC based technologies, Microsoft OS, networking essentials and supported applications.
Imaging experience in a Depot Environment
Ideally requires a HS Diploma or equivalent 2-3 years' experience or relative education in administration and support of PC computer systems. A+ preferred
Working knowledge and experience installing, maintaining and supporting Windows. Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve problems and document/explain solution to users. Must be a team player.
Participate in oncall rotation
Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs.
Monday- Friday, 8am- 5pm
