Operating Room Assistant - Full Time Days May 01, 2026 Description Operating Room Assistant at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. Full-time, 8‑hour day shifts. This role provides support services to the professional staff in the OR department by performing safe and efficient transfer of neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, and assisting in room turnover and case preparation by gathering and setting up supplies and equipment. Responsibilities Perform safe and efficient patient transfers across all age groups. Assist in operating room turnover and case preparation. Gather and set up necessary supplies and equipment. Maintain proficiency in required competencies and safety protocols. Qualifications Required Qualifications: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience in an operating room environment.
