NorBella Champlin is located in Champlin, MN, just off Hwy 169 and 117th Ave N next to a nice residential neighborhood and Elm Creek Park Reserve. This convenient location provides a peaceful lifestyle while remaining close to local shops, restaurants, and more. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our 40-unit apartment-style community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services. Our Chef/Cook becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations. Duties Include Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures. Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils. Check all trays for menu and diet requirements, preferences, and accuracy. Ensure proper storage for food and supplies. Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in a senior living setting is preferred. Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents' families, and employees.
