Position Overview Provides clinical and consultative services to prevent, assess, evaluate, and treat mental, emotional or behavioral disorders of youth ages 3-20 within the Wellness for Children and Adolescents Restorative Empowerment (WE CARE) Clinic. Under a board-approved supervisor. Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in-clinic, 2 days from home. Responsibilities Provide counseling and case management services for patients using evidence-based practices. Perform crisis interventions as needed. Coordinate with referring providers, other professionals, and family members to engage patients in care. Serve as liaison between the clinical team, clinical leadership, and other professionals involved in the patient's care. Consult and assure continuity of care, convey assessment findings, and implement therapeutic plans. Prepare reports and other documentation in accordance with good clinical practice and institutional standards. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualities and Qualifications Knowledge and clinical experience with mental health issues. Demonstrated ability to provide diagnostic assessment. Ability to establish and maintain trust and rapport. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong organization and time management skills. Strongly preferred: bilingual in English/Spanish. Education Up to one (1) year related experience. Experience Up to one (1) year related experience. Licenses / Certifications At minimum, registered with the Texas Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists as an intern.
