We are seeking a reliable and experienced 1099 Independent Contractor Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate company-provided box trucks, sprinter vans, or cargo vans to complete scheduled delivery routes. This is a contractor position and does not include health or dental benefits.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks, sprinter vans, and other commercial vehicles (including manual transmission when required).
• Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment, ensuring all items are properly secured for transport.
• Deliver goods to residential and commercial locations while providing prompt, professional, and friendly customer service.
• Verify all delivery orders against shipment documents for accuracy before departure and upon delivery.
• Navigate delivery routes efficiently using GPS or route sheets, adjusting for traffic or road conditions as needed.
• Assist with basic warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory, staging freight, and preparing shipments.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct routine safety and pre-trip inspections.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding route progress, delays, or issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Perform heavy lifting when required, using proper lifting techniques and maintaining physical stamina throughout the workday.
