Grant Writer Position

Adriana's "Growing Together" is seeking a grant writer. The grant writer will be responsible for researching, drafting, and submitting compelling grant proposals to secure funding from corporations and government agencies. This role plays a key part in supporting the organization's mission by generating sustainable revenue through strategic grant funding.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer, highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and passionate about advancing community-focused initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective grant opportunities aligned with organizational goals
• Write, edit, and submit grant proposals, letters of inquiry (LOIs), and supporting documents
• Develop persuasive narratives that clearly articulate programs, impact, and funding needs
• Collaborate with leadership and program teams to gather data, budgets, and impact metrics
• Maintain a grant calendar to track deadlines, reporting requirements, and submissions
• Prepare grant reports and ensure compliance with funder requirements
• Track grant outcomes and maintain accurate records in CRM or database systems
• Build and maintain relationships with foundation and corporate partners
• Assist in developing fundraising strategies and annual development plans

Pay Rate: Starting $25-$30 per hour
