Greensboro Country Club - Prestigious, local country club seeking experienced equipment operator for golf course maintenance. Full-time position. Equipment Operator I is an entry-level position for individuals to begin training on various tasks associated with golf course maintenance and the use of various types of equipment. Individuals in this category should have the ability to operate small equipment such as weed eaters, fly mowers, walking greens mowers, triplex mowers, out front rotary mowers, trap rakes, aerifiers, and utility vehicles. In addition, operators should be willing to learn to operate larger equipment. Jobs include but are not limited to: walk mowing greens, ride mowing greens, hand raking and power raking bunkers, string trimming creeks and other parts of the course, edging curbs, trash collection, debris pickup, help to complete various small projects such as sodding, tree removal, bunker renovation, etc. Starting pay $16.50/hr and up based on experience with attractive benefits package. 40-50 hours per week including mandatory weekend work. Positions also available for part-time weekend only help. Background checks are required for applicants to be considered for hire.
