Job Title: General Laborer $22

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer/Fire Watch for a project at the National Renewable Energy Lab in Golden, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be ready to contribute to maintaining safety and cleanliness on the job site every day. Responsibilities include following crews to prevent fires, using a fire extinguisher when necessary, and managing construction debris.

Responsibilities

• Follow work crews to ensure no fires start during operations.
• Receive training and effectively use a fire extinguisher.
• Pick up construction debris and sweep to maintain job site cleanliness.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience.
• Willingness to work hard and show up every day.
• Experience with concrete, construction, and landscaping.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Attentiveness and readiness to learn.

Work Environment

Work at the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) in Golden, Colorado, an environment that emphasizes safety and cleanliness. This role involves outdoor work, requiring appropriate attire and readiness for physical tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Golden, CO.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
