About this Opportunity:
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Arizona and Banner University Medical Group—Tucson is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist with training/experience in gastrointestinal motility disorders. Ideal candidates will have completed advanced fellowship training in GI motility with experience managing complex disorders of gut–brain interaction, including esophageal, gastric, intestinal, and anorectal disorders.
The selected physician will join a multidisciplinary motility program supported by gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, specialized nursing, and ancillary staff, with access to comprehensive diagnostic modalities including high-resolution manometry, pH-impedance testing, anorectal manometry, and breath testing.
The motility practice serves as a regional referral center for the Southwest and represents a unique opportunity to establish and expand a comprehensive motility program within Banner Health. The candidate may step into an existing referral base and develop a robust motility-focused clinical practice from the outset, with significant opportunity for regional and national impact.
