Dehydration Production Operator for Graveyard!


Personnel Plus Inc. is now hiring reliable and hardworking employees to assist with all aspects of production, receiving, and packaging operations. Candidates must be flexible and able to work either day shift or graveyard shift in a hot and humid production environment.

Pay

• $15.50 per hour

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts:
  • 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
• Rotating schedule:
  • 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on
  • Every other weekend off

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position.

Requirements

• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working in heat and humidity
• Steel-toed boots required
• Ability to work days or overnight shifts

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Operate and monitor multiple machines safely and efficiently
2. Understand production processes and independently make decisions that affect product quality
3. Communicate effectively and demonstrate basic leadership skills
4. Accurately record production and operational data
5. Maintain working knowledge of plant processing systems and operations, including two or more of the following areas:
   • LDY (raw)
   • Cutting systems / screw presses
   • Drum controls
   • Milling
   • Coolers
   • Railcar loading
6. Communicate effectively with crew members and shift supervisors
7. Make recommendations to improve processes and equipment operations
8. Train and support new employees on equipment operation and procedures
9. Other duties may be assigned

• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
