The Work You’ll Be Doing\n

In this role, you will:

\n
    \n
  • Set up and operate CNC lathes to machine precision plastic components
  • \n
  • Work on Method and Tsugami CNC machines (Fanuc controls)
  • \n
  • Install tooling, set offsets, verify workholding, and prove out setups
  • \n
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • \n
  • Make offset and tooling adjustments to maintain tolerances
  • \n
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
  • \n
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot as needed
  • \n
  • Accurately document production activity
  • \n
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • \n
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
  • \n

Experience with Fanuc-based controls is important for success in this role.

  • 3+ years of CNC lathe experience

  • Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes independently
  • \n
  • Experience with Fanuc controls

  • Ability to read blueprints and hold tolerances
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of tooling and offsets
  • \n
  • Comfortable working in a production environment
  • \n
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
  • \n

Preferred:

  • Experience machining plastics or thermoplastics
  • \n
  • Experience with Method or Tsugami machines
  • \n
  • Ability to make minor program edits at the machine
  • \n
  • Experience operating multiple machines concurrently
